Making a Difference- I need your help!

Last October I joined Alongside International for 2 weeks in Zambia, Africa to build a dorm for homeless street boys aged 8-18 (most orphans). These boys had been living (and dying) on the street, sleeping in calverts and struggling for the basic necessities of life in order to survive.
Horrible conditions that I got to see first hand. They didn't choose this life. What a miracle it was to see them in a new environment at the Lazarus Project. A 20 Acre protected farm where they learn building skills, agriculture and farming, etc. while they get a basic education curriculum. I

worked alongside these boys to complete a dormitory where they will stay while they transform their lives and learn to help their country recover from a pandemic of Aids, poverty, starvation and disease. The trip cost me $3500. and I did make a difference. In fact, I came back a different person. This trip opened my heart and lit a fire of compassion for these people. I want to continue to help them with your support.

I am forming a new team of 15-20 people to return in June to build a second dormitory to help even more boys. For this I need to raise the $3500. travel and accommodation costs as well as $5000. for building materials. It's a difficult thing for me to ask you for money but when I think of the boys and the amazing difference we can make to their lives, I feel compelled to do
so. Together we can change lives. Please open your heart to this worthy cause. No donation is too small and all donations of $20. or more will receive a charitable receipt for 100% of the value.
